"I'm happy to be wacky- my wonder gives me wings!"
With a lifelong zeal for the wacky and wonderful as my core, I have long aspired to teach and
make media that inspires in young people a love of learning about the world and the people in it on a neighborhood, national, and international scale. This desire has driven me to lead filmmaking workshops in addition to working on nature documentaries for PBS, digital media forNational Geographic, a web seriesfor American Girl, and a season of the internationally-acclaimed children's television show Tsehai Loves Learning for Whiz Kids Workshop in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
True to my mission to empower people through messages that inform and uplift, I am currently applying the storytelling skills I've honed as a filmmaker and the effective enrollment skills I've exercised as an independent instructor to a role in fundraising for The Nature Conservancy. My desire to make a difference commits me to a high standard of work and an insatiable appetite for knowledge about conservation, art, health, cross-cultural communication, and education.
